Royale Lalawi Hotel is probably the best hotel stay option when at Aizawl. We had a 3 night stay and had booked a valley view room which had an amazing view overlooking the beautiful city of aizawl. The location is central but walking anywhere will be a challenge if you're not used to steep climbing or downslope walking. Taxis are available when you step outside. Andrew at Front Desk was helpful during booking with certain requests, also helped us plan our itinerary during our stay by providing us a driver who was amazing. Rooms are clean, housekeeping does a fantastic job. The corridors feel fresh and you can while away time just looking at the view if you have booked a valley view room. Breakfast spread was okay not too huge but gets the basic done. Mali at restaurant was extremely approachable, she helped us get our desired preparation of tea. The only downside during our stay was the amount of events the hotel had and the staff being busy with the event so getting things in the room or other requests were a bit delayed. Major standout of this hotel will be their gym as many hotels at Aizawl don't have one. You also have to climb a flight of stairs to reach the lobby where you have lift access but the stairs are mandatory. There are general stores right in front of the hotel which takes care of any basic need. Sunday, most shops and activities remain shut at Aizawl so plan accordingly. Would recommend for stay at Aizawl.

It's a very good hotel. I am staying here since last 6 days with my family.. travelling Moxoram from Kolkata. The hotel has a good restaurant..taste is good. Service is very prompt. Front desk staffs are very active..I liked this hotel.
