Right in front of the room when you look down, you see couple of buildings obstructing the view. While booking, I did not see any such photo on hotel's website (or on MMT). I was totally disappointed. When asked to staff for balcony view available on website, they said those photos are 10 years back. Hotel Ishan fooling with old photos. The room was average and below expectation for the price paid. I was there for holiday and Ganga view, which was really not there. Food was average, not so good. No balconies in the rooms. No swimming pool at the hotel and in pictures they have mentioned. The only good thing it is near Laxman jhula so market and cafes are easily accessible. But I don't think I will stay here again.

Apart from that, the service was extremely poor, the staff response was unprofessional, and the food quality was bad. The rooms were not properly maintained and did not justify the high price charged by the hotel. Basic cleanliness, room condition, service quality, and guest support all need serious improvement. In my experience, this hotel is charging mainly for the location, not for the quality or hospitality. I would not recommend staying here only because it is near Laxman Jhula.
