Had a terrible stay at Puri Palace. The customer service was careless and nobody responded properly to our concerns. The room AC was hardly working and there was almost no cooling. On top of that, the AC would automatically shut off during the night because of some timer setup, which made the room unbearably hot and ruined our sleep. Completely dissatisfied with the experience.

Had a wonderful stay! The rooms were clean and well-maintained. The staff was extremely polite and helpful throughout our visit. The food quality was excellent. Overall it was a wonderful experience.

DO NOT STAY HERE – Unhygienic, Shady, and Absolutely Filthy I wouldn’t stay at Hotel Puri Palace again even if they paid me to. This was, without a doubt, the worst hotel experience I have ever had. If you are planning a trip to Amritsar, please save your money and your health by staying anywhere else. The hotel is incredibly unclean and unhygienic. The rooms are filthy and have a persistent, pungent smell. The bathrooms are a disaster the toilet flush actually had mud coming out of it. The shower and basin taps are so heavily rusted that they are completely unusable. To make matters worse, they don't even provide basic necessities like soap or towels. The rooms are cramped and feel claustrophobic because there are no windows in the entire room. The AC was non-functional and the ceiling fans were thick with dust. While the staff was kind enough to move me to a slightly larger room upon request, it suffered from all the same disgusting issues as the first one. Some of the newer rooms on the ground floor are also unbearable due to the overwhelming chemical stench of furniture polish and pesticides. The entire hotel has a very "shady" vibe and feels like a place used for hourly transitions rather than a family friendly hotel. As a traveler, I felt very uncomfortable with the environment.

Recently stayed at Hotel Puri Palace,Amritsar and it was truly the best experience ever! The staff is extremely cooperative, polite, and always ready to help with a smile. They made the stay very comfortable. The food was really good - fresh, tasty, and well-prepared. The overall atmosphere of the hotel is very friendly and lively & hotel is in a prime location. It’s just a 5-minute drive from the railway station and only 10 minutes away from the Golden Temple (Harmandir Sahib), making it very convenient for travelers Highly recommended for anyone visiting Amritsar Would definitely love to stay.
