Had an amazing experience at Fern Residency, Gaya Spacious and very clean rooms, big bed, and calm ambience. Location is perfect. Room service and food were superb. Loved that child accommodation (age 10) was free with no extra charges. Will definitely stay again. 5/5 ⭐

The stay was pleasant. Possibly of the best properties at bodhgaya pn stay and service if you decide to go off season. The staff is quick on response. Special mention to reception Manager TUSHAR for his diligent guest focus, quick action and ensuring a comfortable stay, thank you. Another shoutout to SANCHARI and RAJVEER managing the dining responsibilities for guests. They were superb in making sure we are fed well and on time during the stay, thank you. Overall The team managed to retain a guest and will be back soon 😊!

Nice and tranquil place, away from dust and din of Gaya town. Staff is courteous and well mannered. It would have been great if the property had surrounded greenery. Though it is Mariott series property, yet the service and standards are at par. It is particularly worth mentioning Litti Chokha - the Bihar native delicacy and the special tea prepared by Chef and steward Rajveer , which is fondly remembered. Front office staff is very courteous and caring, we arrived very late from Patna Airport due to usual train delays; yet the staff were very caring concerned about arrival and safety in night, a particular mention about Mr. Tushar and his female colleague for their helpful nature. Better stick to hotel food than outside which is risky as the Gaya town - thanks to poor larders and governance - is highly unhygienic, filthy with utter lack of concern for environment, despite the place having historical, civilisational and cultural significance for both Hindus and Buddhists. Bihar is one of the important cradles of culture and knowledge, sadly an otherwise ‘Gnanabhumi’ has become ‘Agnanabhumi’ with poor quality role-models in society. Common people are very good and well mannered; in fact feel sad at their helpless, at their plight due to poor role models set by corrupt politicians, indifferent bureaucracy and poor governance. There is excellent tourism and employment potential, only if Politicians and Civil servants are efficient, conscientiously socially responsible and free from corruption and indifference. Wonders can happen if there is socially, culturally, politically responsible role modelling initiative happens. The urban filth, plastic, squalor, sewerage is appaling with utter lack of concern to environment. A sustainable initiative making local populations stake holders is need of the hour to make Gaya restored its pristine glory and great past.Taking home the memories of great past, scary present but fond hope and wish for the future of BodhGaya.
