Stayed at Hotel Hampi International, Hospet, in a Classic Double Room during my Hampi trip, and overall it was a comfortable experience. The room was clean, spacious enough, and well-maintained. The bathroom quality, bed comfort, AC, hot water availability, and Wi-Fi experience were all good. Nothing felt problematic during the stay. The breakfast and restaurant experience were actually one of the highlights. The food quality was excellent, and it was a great way to start the day before heading out for sightseeing. The staff behaviour was decent and professional. The location is quite convenient depending on your itinerary. If you are planning to visit Tungabhadra Dam, this hotel is probably one of the better options. For South Hampi, the location is manageable, but for North Hampi, you should expect longer travel time. One thing that disappointed us was that we had planned to celebrate a friend’s birthday at the hotel, but the management instead recommended us to visit another hotel nearby, saying they arrange these kind of requests. It was a small thing but can be considered for guests celebrating a special occasion. Overall, I would rate my stay 4/5. It is a comfortable option right next to Hospet station with good rooms, great food, and a convenient location, especially for travellers who want a decent base while exploring Hampi.
