The hotel is in walking distance to the Bodhi temple and other nearby temples. Even though the rooms were undergoing some renovations, we were given rooms on second floor which were clean and had all the amenities. The owner is quite accommodating and they have a Pomeranian dog too.

This is nice place tucked away in the corner of a street, this is extremely close to the mahabodhi temple....its walkable......they do provide tea and coffee......rhe plc us comfortable and clean

The advertised “view of the stupa” is misleading. Only a very small part of the top of the stupa is visible, and it is almost impossible to see clearly because it is very far away. During our entire stay, the room was cleaned only twice. We had to call the staff ourselves when the trash bin was full, even though daily cleaning was promised. There was a very unpleasant smell in the room, despite the price of 2500 rupees per night. The laundry service was also overpriced — 40 rupees to wash just two socks. In my friend’s room, which cost the same 2500 rupees, there was a hole in the bathroom wall and a strong sewage smell. Overall, the quality does not match the price.

My partner really enjoyed his stay at Sakura House. Ravi was extremely friendly and generous, even upgrading his room to a view of the Mahabodhi Temple. It’s centrally located with great walkability to everywhere in Bodghaya including the temple. Food was fresh and convenient on the rooftop, room was very clean with everything you need.
