An absolutely outstanding hotel and without doubt one of the finest we have ever stayed in. The service was exceptional from start to finish. Every member of staff was friendly, attentive, and genuinely went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. Nothing was too much trouble, and we always felt incredibly well looked after. The food was also exceptional—easily some of the best we enjoyed during our Golden Triangle tour. Every meal was delicious, with a fantastic choice and impeccable quality. I recently stayed at Taj Agra, and while the overall experience was pleasant, there are a few areas that need improvement. The ambience, hospitality, and overall property were excellent and lived up to the Taj brand. The rooms and service were also very good, making the stay comfortable. However, the dinner and breakfast buffets at Palato were disappointing. The variety was decent, but the quality and taste of the food did not meet the standards I expected from a five-star hotel. In my opinion, several other five-star hotels in Agra offer buffet food with much better taste and overall quality. Interestingly, when we ordered from the à la carte menu at the same Palato restaurant, the food was delicious and much better than the buffet. This suggests the kitchen is capable of producing excellent food, but the buffet offerings need significant improvement in terms of flavor and consistency. Overall, I had a good stay because of the ambience and service, but I hope the hotel focuses on enhancing the quality and taste of its buffet to match the high standards associated with the Taj brand.
