Generally, I do not post reviews, but this property compelled me to do so. I paid ₹6,400 for a 2-day stay through Agoda, but I honestly feel cheated considering the condition of the rooms and the quality of service provided. Location The hotel is situated uphill, and despite its claims, it is not as conveniently located near Mall Road as advertised. Reaching the property can be inconvenient, especially for guests carrying luggage. Facilities & Service The facilities advertised on various booking platforms (Agoda in my case) are either unavailable or poorly maintained. Even for basic necessities, guests have to repeatedly remind the staff. The hotel appears understaffed, and the staff members are neither proactive nor efficient in addressing guest requirements. Food The food was extremely disappointing. I booked the room with breakfast included, which effectively cost me around ₹400 + GST per day. However, after a long wait on both mornings, the only breakfast served was tasteless puri-sabji. Similar food is readily available nearby for around ₹50 per plate. Moreover, guests have to adjust their sightseeing plans to fit the hotel's breakfast timings. Window View The hotel advertises "hill-side view" rooms, but that was certainly not my experience. The view from my window was completely blocked by water tanks, leaving no scenic view whatsoever. Parking There is no dedicated parking facility available. The hotel entrance is extremely narrow, and to make matters worse, there was a pile of foul-smelling garbage near the entrance, creating a very unpleasant first impression. Overall The property is significantly overpriced for what it offers. The room condition, food quality, service standards, and lack of basic facilities do not justify the amount charged. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this hotel to fellow travelers.
Firstly, when we approached the hotel first thing we saw was pile of garbage which was smelling foul very strong. Secondly, our luggage were not taken to room by them we had to lift our luggage 3 floors. When we entered the room there was water on the sofa and it was wet when we asked the staff to do something they said they had nothing to do as it was done by last customer later after complaining at the reception they changed it. About the room, the room was of small size with good view but most of the time guiser didn't work and the hand spray had no pressure, the door knob of another room came out. When we were leaving Noone came to carry our luggage down and the staff also asked for tips. All this was from room- 304 and 305.
Really value for money hotel. Staffs are very nice, the food is good and everything else is pretty nice and clean. Trust my review and go for this, you won't be disappointed. Thank you
I had a very frustrating experience here and honestly wouldn't recommend it, especially for large groups. We were a party of 12 adults and 3 kids under the age of 4, and the establishment was completely unaccommodating. To start with the only "neutral" point: the food was alright for other meals, and the rooms were okayish—nothing special, but functional. However, that is where the positives end. The service was a disaster. The staff were incredibly bad and arrogant, acting as if helping a large family was a massive inconvenience. We also waited an eternity for our meals; the food serving time was VERY late, which is especially difficult when you have small children waiting to eat. To top it off, the breakfast was very bad, which was a terrible way to start the morning. Despite these major lapses, the staff didn't even offer an apology, showing a complete lack of professionalism and basic courtesy. To make matters worse, the washrooms were dirty and extremely small, making it nearly impossible to manage with toddlers. Between the rude attitude of the staff and the lack of cleanliness, the "okay" food definitely wasn't enough to save the visit. Save your money and go elsewhere.
