We had a wonderful 4-night stay at Istana Resort & Spa, and the entire experience was truly memorable. The resort is beautiful, the rooms are comfortable and well-maintained, and the hospitality was exceptional from the moment we arrived until our departure. A special thank you to Dolka and Sejal from the Reception team for their warm welcome, professionalism, and willingness to assist us with every request. They made the check-in and check-out process smooth. We would also like to appreciate Prasan, Mohan, and Ismail from the Restaurant & Dining staff. Their attentive service, friendly attitude, and dedication to ensuring we had a great dining experience made every meal enjoyable. They went above and beyond to make us feel valued and comfortable. The room service staff also deserve recognition for keeping our room spotless and promptly attending to our requests throughout our stay. Overall, the excellent service and genuine hospitality of the entire team made our vacation even more special. Ratings: * 🛏️ Rooms: 4/5 * 🚿 Washroom: 3/5 * 👨💼 Hotel Staff: 5/5 * 🍽️ Restaurant, Food & Buffet: 5/5 The highlight of our stay was definitely the food. The breakfast buffet was one of the best we’ve ever had! The masala dosa was outstanding—perfectly crisp with a generous cheesy filling, easily one of the best dosas I’ve ever eaten. Their tandoori momos were another absolute favorite. We stayed for 2 nights and tried a wide variety of dishes from the menu, and every single one was delicious. The consistency, taste, and quality of the food were exceptional. A huge thank you to the chef and the entire restaurant team for making our stay so memorable. Your passion and effort truly showed in every meal. The hospitality from the staff was equally warm and welcoming throughout our stay. The chef definitely deserves a raise! 👏 We would happily stay here again and highly recommend Istana Resort to anyone visiting Darjeeling.

Such an incredibly amazing experience... truly a luxury stay, first of all the ambience is so so good and positive, the view from above is incredible, moment you enter, a wave of positivity hits you and you'd feel at such ease... the interiors and lightings are top notch, the staff is super respectful and so polite, the food was finger Licking good! Different dishes each day... quality of the toiletries too were good... the rooms were just too good! They even provide you extra foldable bed with matress, bedsheets, pillows and blankets if needed and also assemble it for you... they also respond quickly if you need anything or if there's any problem... what I loved the most was starting my day with that beautiful view and then heading down for breakfast where they played hare Krishna music😌 what an amazing start to your day! Five stars without a single doubt! Can't wait to book my next stay here... worth every penny!✨️ hope more people come to know about this underrated gem!
