I am so glad we went to Johri, it's beautiful reminder that great hospitality doesn't have to overpower its surroundings. Tucked away in the middle of the bustling Johari Bazaar, it embraces the history and character of the neighbourhood instead of trying to reinvent it. I loved the way it is designed. The menu has dishes that celebrate regional flavours in an elevated setting. Even the cocktails were beautifully balanced. We only had a couple over lunch, but they were elegant, restrained and complemented the food perfectly. A memorable meal in a space that feels deeply rooted in Jaipur.

Well i tried their restaurant and let me tell you it is not a regular dining restaurant that you expect. It is a boutique one with specially crafted menu. Portion sizes will be small and especially for food enthusiast it is a heaven. They give miniest Pyaaz kachoi to taste when you enter. I tried Their Daal pakwan/Sangri kebabs and soya kadhi. I would rate each one 5/5. They tasted amazing and with a very unique take on everything. Staff is highly courteous and supportive. The only issue is that it is little inside main road and parking is outside.

I recently visited The Johri in Johri Bazaar, Jaipur. The property has a unique heritage charm and reflects the traditional architecture and culture of the old city. The interiors are beautifully designed, and the staff were polite and welcoming. However, reaching the property can be challenging. The streets in Johri Bazaar are very narrow and often crowded, making access and parking difficult. The surrounding area can feel congested, especially during peak hours. While the hotel has an attractive atmosphere inside, the exterior of the building and some parts of the surrounding area appear old and in need of better maintenance. Considering the premium pricing, I expected a more convenient location and a better overall experience. Overall, it is an interesting place for those who appreciate heritage-style stays, but improvements in accessibility and maintenance would make the experience much more enjoyable.
