We stayed at Hotel Guru Estates, Puri, for 2 days and had a great experience. The rooms were clean, well equipped, and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Hemanth and Mukeshji for smoothly arranging our darshan and helping me to taste few varieties of Mahaprasad. The hotel also arranges daily Mahaprasad for guests. Adithya Guruji, the owner, personally ensured the arrangements were taken care for us. The hotel was well maintained, with excellent housekeeping. On 3rd floor we can find pure vegetarian restaurant, Ram Lalla, serves simple, tasty food without onion or garlic. The hotel is located within walking distance of the Jagannath Temple, the hotel also offers convenient sightseeing travel arrangements (Guru Travels). My mother especially enjoyed the stay, and having everything organized in one place made it easy for me to manage work during the trip. Overall, it was a comfortable stay with excellent hospitality. Location is excellent, just walking distance from temple and on the mail road. You can get cheap travel options and eating out joints as well. Service is also good. Manager Atulya was professional and helpful. He upgraded our room since the rooms were being cleaned, and also showed us rooms before checkin. At the time I was there around a month ago, room service was not available. That could be a little challenge with small kids. But rooftop restaurant is there with tasty food and reasons rates.
