My stay at the Clove Ladakh was a wonderful and memorable experience. I had to join my new place of job in Ladakh and the Clove Ladakh Dormitories was the cheapest and most affordable one in Leh town until i had found a rented room. Initially i did not had any high expectation but once checked in I was surprised to see the property. My stay was only for two days but i kept it extending for almost two weeks. The Dormitory single beds were King Size and extremely comfortable. They have thick curtains for privacy and also have reading light inside for each beds. The bathrooms were excellent with hi-tec Jaquar fittings and really clean and hygiene all the time. They also have in-house restaurant which is open for all outsider. Its really famous for Indian and Chinese food. The open rooftop restaurant has breath taking 360° view of Leh town. With evening setting in the ambience is really romantic and highly recommended for young couples and group of young travellers. They also have two private Deluxe Rooms and one Semi Deluxe Room in case someone needs them separately. Overall, a wonderful stay and the owner is really nice person. All you need is to call him and speak to him if you need any assistance.

I faced several issues during my stay at this hotel, which made it a very uncomfortable experience. There was no WiFi offered, absolutely no welcome kit, and not even a single water bottle provided in the room. There was also no hot water for the shower, which is a basic necessity. Even more frustrating was that staff did not pick up calls when I tried reaching out for help or resolution. Overall, the lack of amenities and poor service has left me extremely dissatisfied with my stay here. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable or hassle-free experience.

If you are visiting Ladakh and missing The Clove then believe me you are missing one of the surreal places in Ladakh. Surrounded by the big shiny mountains, the roof top restaurant gives you a metaphysical vibe. The rooms are spacious and are clean as the landscape of Ladakh. The variety of cuisines and the sumptuous taste of the food will force you to visit Ladakh again. Whether you are wandering solo or is visiting with family, I strongly recommend to visit The clove.

This place offers a tranquil mountain escape with breathtaking views and impeccable hospitality. From the very moment we arrived, we were greeted by the warm smiles of the staff, who ensured that every need of ours was met. The property offers panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. The decor is simple yet elegant. The rooms are very comfortable, very clean and well maintained. We loved the rooftop restaurant. Great views all around with delicious food. Definitely try the local cuisine here, you will love it! Overall, this property greatly exceeded our expectations as a mountain getaway in terms of comfort, cleanliness, ambience, food and hospitality. Highly recommended. Would definitely return!
