I had a wonderful stay at the Darjeeling Hillside Inn! The location is incredibly convenient, just a short walk from the Batasia Loop and Ghoom Monastery. The rooms were spotlessly clean, well-maintained, and offered a beautiful, peaceful view of the surrounding mountains.

Had an amazing stay at Hillside Inn. The hotel is beautiful and the balcony hillside view was absolutely शानदार — even better in real life. A special thanks to the owner, Samuel Rai, who is a very sweet, humble, and kind person. He provided us with wonderful hospitality throughout our stay and was always helpful whenever we needed anything. The food was also very tasty, and they even arranged meals according to our preference, which made our experience even more comfortable and special. We truly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Darjeeling. Thank you again, Hillside Inn Darjeeling, for such a memorable experience! 😊

The hotel staff’s behavior is not professional, and the hotel is located in a very isolated area. After 8 PM, it becomes extremely difficult to find taxis, food, or even basic essential items nearby. Overall, it’s one of the worst locations to stay. The offline room price of this hotel is usually around ₹1000–₹1500 maximum, but online platforms consistently show prices above ₹2500, which is not worth it at all. The distance from the hotel to Mall Road is more than 5 km, and transportation availability is very poor. There are plenty of much better hotel options available near Mall Road within the ₹1500 price range.

We had such a wonderful experience! The place was absolutely beautiful, and the atmosphere was super cozy and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The staff was warm, attentive, and made sure we felt comfortable throughout our stay. They even played lovely songs that added to the whole vibe and made the experience even more special. The food was incredibly good — every dish was delicious and well-prepared. And the sunset view from our window was simply breathtaking. It truly made our time there unforgettable. Would definitely love to visit again! ✨
