I chose this hotel because I heard the interior was new and it's close to the Golden Temple. It's indeed very close to the Golden Temple. Most of the reception staff were very kind. They gave me a newly renovated room. The room wasn't large, but I was generally satisfied. The only things that bothered me were the noisy window-mounted air conditioner and the old toilet. Everything else was truly brand new; the bed, pillows, and sheets were all spotless. The rooftop where the free breakfast is served wasn't very well maintained, which was a bit confusing, but they do prepare the food properly. During my stay, renovation work seemed to be ongoing, and I could hear construction noise, but I'm sure the entire hotel will be transformed into a brand-new accommodation. Given its location and newness, I recommend this hotel.
