Wonderful stay! The staff was really friendly and helpful. The room was cozy and immaculate. The ideal place to explore. Excellent coffee and tea as well! I heartily suggest it for a fun and restful vacation and it's near to golden temple as well
Worst Hotel Experience – Not Recommended This was by far the worst hotel experience I've had. The initial room we were given was too small for a family, and we had to pay an extra 2000 rupees to upgrade to a bigger room. The entire property was under renovation, with construction debris cluttering the balconies, making them unusable and unsafe. While the hotel's proximity to the Golden Temple is advertised as a plus, it was actually a major inconvenience as taxis and four-wheelers struggle to access the narrow roads leading to the property. The facilities were subpar; the room phone didn’t work, forcing us to walk to the reception for every small request. Basic amenities were lacking, and they even charged extra for drinking water. Overall, I would not recommend staying here.
Stayed for one day with my family. We were 6 people and a toddler, so booked 3 deluxe rooms. After checking in we wanted to change one of the rooms as we wanted the front balcony view in all the rooms. The owner immediately addressed our request and changed one of the room to an available vacant room with balcony view in the 2nd floor. We were provided with complementary water bottles on arrival on all the rooms. There were service guys available for taking all luggage from the reception to the rooms-they handled luggage with care. From the terrace, the view of Harmandir Sahib was very good. We were able to walk to the temple in just less than a minute. The locality was safe - women in my family went to the temple at 3 am in the morning for Darshan. On checkout our luggage were moved from all rooms to the reception, and later to the cab by the service guy; Though he did not demand any money for the service, we gave some small amount as a good will gesture. Rooms were tidy and had working led TV. Bathrooms were clean. All rooms had balcony and had view towards the temple. The staff were professional and courteous. We had to extend our stay more than the time mentioned for checkout due to our travel itinerary timings; the owner have taken the request and let us stay for few more hours without taking any additional charges. Also they arranged cab to airport, which was comfortable and picked us up from the hotel - rate of cab was same as OLA. Only one thing to point out for people who need larger room is that the area of deluxe rooms were less, which we did not mind, as our intention to stay was to visit Harmandir Sahib temple. There were larger family rooms in the 3rd floor. There is lift access to all floors. All in all I would recommend this place, and would stay here again in my next visit.
