I booked the suite room in this hotel. But very worst experience during stay in this of my life. Room was not clean when we reached at hotel. Bathroom looks like a public toilet. Each everytime we called to housekeeper to clean the room. When serve the food then the plate was not clean properly. Tea cups also were very dirty by outerside. They claim this is suite room service. So, when u plan to come tawang please don't book this hotel if u want to relax with clean environment
It’s ok type hotel. New wing rooms are bigger and better. Opt for that only. Staff is fine but will have to follow up little bit for the work. Over all value for money hotel.
A Lifesaver in Tawang – Excellent Stay! Our stay at Hotel Dewa was a wonderful experience and a true last-minute savior. After being unable to reach our originally booked homestay, Hotel Dewa took us in and provided a warm, comfortable refuge. The Highlights: Hospitality: The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful, which we appreciated immensely given our situation. Their warmth made us feel welcome right away. Accommodations: The rooms were notably clean and well-maintained, providing a cozy space to rest. Dining: They have an on-site restaurant with a good variety of tasty food, so we didn't have to worry about finding a meal after a long day of travel. Good to Know: The hotel does charge an additional fee for room heaters. While it’s an extra cost, it was definitely worth it for the comfort during the cold Tawang nights. Overall, this is a reliable and hospitable choice for anyone visiting the area. Highly recommended!
Booked this property for 3 days for my senior citizen parents, they provided dirty rooms with no electricity and water that too on third floor. My parents wanted to check out after 1 day as the hotel is not liveable, but the hotel staff kept them hostage and demanded entire money for 3 days. Also threatened as they wanted to go to the police station for help
Extremely Horrible Hotel – Please Avoid This Place at All Costs This is honestly one of the worst hotel experiences of my life. I am currently staying in Tawang with my family, 9 people including senior citizens, after traveling all the way from Kolkata, and this hotel has turned our trip into a complete nightmare. The hotel is extremely disorganised and poorly managed. In fact, there is no manager available at the property at all. Because of that, the staff simply says they are following whatever instructions the manager has given earlier, and they refuse to take any responsibility or make any decisions to help guests. It feels like the hotel is running without any supervision or accountability. What makes it worse is the freezing temperature in Tawang (around 2°C, feels like -1°C). Despite such extreme cold conditions: 1. No heater is provided in the rooms 2. The water geyser is not working, no hot water 3.Rooms are extremely small and uncomfortable 4.Basic amenities are missing 5.No proper support or service from the staff This is especially dangerous and uncomfortable for elderly guests, and the hotel management seems completely unconcerned about guest safety or comfort. People travel to Tawang after long and difficult journeys expecting basic hospitality, but this place shows complete negligence towards its guests. I strongly urge travelers and families to avoid this hotel completely. There are many better hotels in Tawang that value their guests. Staying here has been frustrating, freezing, and deeply disappointing. This place should not be operating as a hotel with such poor management and lack of basic facilities. Absolutely not recommended.
