I had previously stayed in this hotel but it has gone from bad to worse. Recently I stayed in their best suite. Negotiated price was 5.3k. AC wasnt working. Complaining to the House keeping went to deaf ears. No room toiletries. Asking the house keeoing went to deaf ears. For one night I was like 'huh, when will I get out of this dungeon?" The reception was polite though but it went out of their control. I want to take b as th and check out. Oh gosh, no water. Water wasnt there even whe I check out at 11.30 am. Breakfast was complimentary but out of annoyance, I didnt take it. The management must give serious attention. They hav six floors but the lift can carry just two persons at a time. I wont recomment anyone unless imrpovement is made.

I booked a full-paid week at The Grand, Aizawl, through Agoda and sadly it turned out to be my worst hotel experience. I wasn’t informed at check-in that packaged drinking water would be charged extra, yet I was billed ₹1,496 for it. I had no option to switch hotels despite having paid in full. The lift is dangerously small and cramped — barely usable unless you’re very slim. The room AC was extremely noisy and disrupted sleep. During the FIFA World Cup the hotel refused to provide a subscription to the channel, and only YouTube was available. Breakfast was the same fixed four-item menu every day with no variety. Overall, poor communication, hidden charges, and substandard facilities made my one-week stay very disappointing. I hope management addresses these issues for future guests.
