Disappointing stay. I chose this hotel for its location, as it’s a convenient 1 km walk or auto ride from the Madurai Meenakshi temple. Unfortunately, that was the only positive. The online photos are misleading. In reality, the hotel is dusty, gloomy, unpainted, and feels stuck in the 1960s. The bathroom was in a dilapidated state—the commode lid literally fell off when opened, and the washbasin tap wasn't working. No basic amenities like bottled water or coffee/tea bags were provided. While the rooms are spacious, the management is non-existent; it seems like they only have 1–2 elderly staff members maintaining a 7-story building. Definitely not worth it.

1. Do not book this hotel at any cost. It was the worst hotel experience I have ever had. 2. Cockroaches everywhere – on the bed, floor, walls, and around the room. Completely unhygienic. 3. The AC did not work properly, making the room extremely hot and uncomfortable. It felt like the main AC power was being switched off, yet the staff kept denying any issue. 4. The room had a constant foul smell and felt suffocating throughout the stay. 5. Leaking taps and poor maintenance showed how badly the property is managed. 6.No staff was available when needed, even for basic assistance. 7.The staff was rude, arrogant, and had a terrible attitude towards guests. 8.Complaints were ignored, and instead of solving problems, the staff acted as if nothing was wrong. 9.The hotel charges high prices for extremely poor service and conditions. Absolutely not worth the money. I would never stay here again and strongly recommend others avoid this property.

Very bad experience, they don't even check what issue we faced or anything. Please don't go for this hotel very bad service, staff is very rude , rooms are dirty. No cleanness and nothing.

Worst maintained and very poor service. Even though booked in advance with full payment rooms to 8 senior citizens were allotted in fourth floor and lift was also under repair. Only one old lady tried to help us and we seniors aged above were forced to lift our luggages by staircases and for every visit forced to use only stair cases. Rooms are full of cockroaches and toilet are ugly. No hot water and through out night AC was giving some strange sounds very often and disturbed our tired sleep. Very old hotel and to be refurnished. Taps were not working properly and even room licks are not comfortable. Not to recommend this hotel to any one and very costly for poor infrastructure and service 😭
