One of the best views in Tawang with a super friendly host family. The hospitality here truly made the stay memorable. Just a heads-up that the kitchen only provides vegetarian food. They have a very genuine reason for this — since Tawang is a Buddhist region, the availability of fresh meat is limited. Because of that, they prefer to cook and serve vegetarian meals to their guests. Honestly, the vegetables from their own farm are incredibly fresh and very tasty. For non-vegetarian lovers, don’t worry. There are delivery options available that can provide non-veg food if you want. The best part of the stay was that they draped a traditional local cloth on every guest as part of their culture. It was a lovely gesture and made the experience feel very special and authentic.
