The property is beautiful and well placed on the backwaters. There is a jetty point just outside the gate of the hotel and the iconic red bridge is also same place. If you walk towards left of the small gate, you may be able to see some craftsmen working on Shikara or Boathouses.

We stayed at Chandni Lakeview Resort in Alleppey for two days during our Kerala trip, and it turned out to be one of the best stays of our journey. I actually found this resort unintentionally while searching online, but I am really happy we chose it. The rooms are very thoughtfully designed and comfortable. As you enter the room, there is a small dressing area along with the washroom and bathroom, and then another door opens into the main room space, which gives a very nice sense of privacy and layout. The room interiors were clean, spacious, and aesthetically pleasing. The best part was definitely the balcony view. The moment I opened the balcony door, I was welcomed by a beautiful view of the Punnamada Canal. Watching the calm waters in the morning and evening made the stay truly memorable. The location itself is peaceful and scenic. The breakfast served every morning was quite good, fresh, and satisfying. During our stay, I also met the owner, Mr. Alex, and had a lovely conversation with him. He was warm, humble, and welcoming, which added a very personal touch to the overall experience. The resort also has a very good swimming pool and is located very close to all the main Alleppey activities. The Shikara point and houseboat terminals are only around a 10 minute walk away, which makes it very convenient. Whether you want to enjoy kayaking, Shikara rides, or houseboat experiences, everything is nearby. The hotel staff can also help you book these rides directly from the reception. If you prefer exploring on your own, you can simply walk to the terminals and speak with the boat captains directly for good rates. Overall, this was one of the most peaceful and beautiful stays of our Kerala trip. I would definitely recommend Chandni Lakeview Resort to anyone looking for a relaxing stay near the lake with beautiful canal views and easy access to Alleppey’s backwater experiences.

Stayed here for 2 days and honestly, pretty chill place 😄 Rooms were clean and neat, staff were super friendly and helpful, and even the owner was really nice to talk to. Budget-friendly too, so no complaints there 👍 We even asked for an extra bed and they arranged it immediately, which was really nice. Hot water and all basic stuff worked perfectly. Only thing is, night food options were kinda limited and a bit overpriced 😅 so we had to step out to eat. Also the pool wasn’t that clean, could definitely improve that. Overall, good stay for the price and nice vibe with punnamada view ❤️

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Chaandini Lake View. The location is absolutely perfect, offering beautiful views of the lake that make mornings and evenings very peaceful and relaxing. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with all the basic amenities provided. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. Their hospitality really made the experience more enjoyable. The food was also quite good, especially the local Kerala dishes which were fresh and flavorful. Overall, it’s a great place to stay if you’re looking for a calm and scenic getaway. I would definitely recommend Hotel Chaandini Lake View to anyone visiting the area and would love to stay here again!
