I stayed at The Concord Hotel, Kohima for 3 days and 2 nights, and my experience was excellent. The manager was extremely kind, polite, and helpful. He even assisted me in booking a taxi late at night so I could catch my train from Dimapur, which I truly appreciate. The staff is courteous and supportive, the service is great, and the food is affordable and tasty. Overall, it felt comfortable and safe throughout my stay. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Kohima. Great hospitality and value for money!
The hotel is in the heart of the Kohima town. The rooms are clean and tidy. The staff are courteous and helpful. Shops and market and war cemetry are nearby. Agoda and Booking .com did not show this hotel for strange reasons. This was recommended by a local person who was travelling with me from Lumding to Dimapur. Highly recommended.
Worst customer service experience... I wasn't well and I asked for lime water with ginger and honey... But even after 45 minutes, they couldn't process the order... I had to cancel it and have lime water from outside. The egg noodles was half cooked despite of repeated order after the complain. The only saving grace was the naga fish curry prepared. Rooms are clean and reasonable but if you are expecting a good service with good quality food... This is the last place you wanna visit for your foods and service.
Centrally located, spacious rooms which are clean and well appointed. The staff are friendly and helpful. They have an in-house kitchen (which has a fairly broad vegetarian selection) The pricing is reasonable for the service provided. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone travelling to Kohima. The only points of concern are the lack of parking space (which cannot be helped as the streets are narrow) and the bathrooms being a bit tiny, but overall a very positive experience.
