Veryyy disappointing experience — poor service and serious water issues even in the top category suite rooms! Our stay at Sterling Lake Resort in Alleppey was extremely disappointing. The biggest issue was the poor service. Even for something as basic as a bottle of water, we had to wait more than 30 minutes each time. The hospitality was not up to the mark, and we did not feel properly attended to or welcomed during our stay. The water quality was also very concerning. The bathroom water was hard, smelly, and at times had a sewage-like smell, which made the stay very uncomfortable. This is not acceptable for any resort, especially one that guests choose for comfort and relaxation. What made the experience worse was that our complaints and concerns were not properly acknowledged. Instead of resolving the issues or showing genuine concern, the problems seemed to be ignored. Overall, the service, hospitality, and basic facilities were far below expectations. I would not recommend this resort unless they seriously improve their guest service and address the water quality issues immediately.

It’s a superb property. We did dancing & fishing as a complimentary activity here! It was great! Ananthu was our assistant for fishing and Kiran for dancing! We had a lot of fun at both activities and made great memories! The facility is extremely scenic and every corner is a perfect backdrop for photographs!

Disaster resort. No maintenance, rude staff, the food was ok but pricey. The pool can only be used when its not too warm: there are no shades, and the chairs are made of metal, so they are really really burning.

Exotic and very beautiful place to stay. Our stay was very relaxing and memorable with shikara ride in Vembanad lake and Kuttamangalam canal early in the morning. The staff is very hospitable and Kerala food is delicious. Cool place for a relaxing holiday
