I stayed at 4N homestay for 2 nights. I was travelling solo. The location is top notch..just a few steps ( not even minutes ) away from Harmandir Sahib. I could visit multiple times day and night without worrying about how to get back. Next, the drivers Anoop Ji arranged for airport transfers and within the city, were all polite and courteous. I travelled all alone with the cab driver to far off districts in Amritsar.. the driver was extremely respectful, shared knowledge about the Holy Gurudwaras and historical facts. Room was also good, had AC and his wife makes yummy food. I had rajma chawal at the hotel.. it was simply homestyle and delicious. Thanks Anoop Ji. I will be coming again soon!

4N Homestay is perfectly located for anyone visiting Amritsar. Situated in Papad Wali Gali, right next to Harmandir Sahib, it offers the convenience of being within walking distance of major attractions like Jallianwala Bagh, the Partition Museum, Heritage Street, and popular shopping markets. What we loved most was that everything was easily accessible—local eateries, street food vendors, tuk-tuks, shopping, and sightseeing options are all just steps away. Despite being so close to all the action, the area remains peaceful and comfortable, making it ideal for families and senior citizens. The homemade meals prepared by the hosts are another highlight, offering a comforting alternative to restaurant food during your stay. Excellent location, homely hospitality, and unmatched convenience—highly recommended for anyone looking to experience the best of Amritsar without the hassle of constant travel.

Our stay was truly comfortable, and the biggest advantage of this guest house is its location—just a minute’s walk to the Golden Temple. This made our visit extremely convenient, especially as we were traveling with kids and elderly parents. It saved us a lot of time and allowed us to make the most of our two-day trip. A special thanks to Anoop ji for arranging a smooth and enjoyable city tour cab. We also sincerely appreciate didi for her warm hospitality—she prepared delicious Amritsari kulcha for breakfast and even cooked dinner for my kids when they were unwell. It truly felt like a homely experience. One small suggestion, particularly for elderly guests: it would be helpful to have basic tea/coffee-making facilities or essentials available in the room, as food service begins only after 8:30 am. For those with health needs, having early morning tea can be important. Apart from this, the rooms are very neat, and service is prompt whenever requested. Overall, it was a pleasant and memorable stay.

I stayed here for 3 days, when I visited Amritsar and golden temple for the first time. Above all, location is the biggest strength of this stay. One of the temple’ gates is just on the other side of the road. I was able to visit golden temple many times whenever I wanted, even at midnight when the queue to the golden temple seemed to be the shortest. I enjoyed walking around the corridors, mediating by the side of the water, and enjoyed Langar (famous free meals) and serving. Another point is their rooftop. I enjoyed the spectacular view of the whole temple complex from the rooftop, day and night. Owners and staffs are very supportive and if I have any questions or requests, they handled nicely. For the people who want to enjoy golden temple, I definitely suggest this homestay!
