Good - 1. Staffs were polite. 2. Location top notch (near to rock beach and main city). 3. Scooty was available there itself. 4. Basic amenities kept good in room and hotel. Bad - 1. Not so value for money. 3500 per day found costly. 2. Breakfast was lite and few options as a north indian. (no egg or live dosa) only idli, vada and sambhar. 3. No small fridge as such for keeping things cold. 4. Landline did not work. 5. Do not go for the pic as shown. Better to stay in a resort if you want pure leisure and beach view if you can afford a bit higher price range. But if you want to roam around the city, this is an excellent place.
It is a very nice and decent hotel. People are very humble and kind there. They will make you feel like family. And location is too good. Rock Beach, vinayaka temple, scooty for rent and cafes are nearby. We had a great stay here. Keep it up guys.
Had a wonderful stay in 19 Villa Mira, Pondicherry. The location is one of the biggest highlights — peacefully situated near the seashore with easy beach access and surrounded by the iconic French-style streets filled with beautiful photography spots and charming cafés. The stay was extremely pleasant and family-friendly. The caretakers were very caring, supportive, and ensured that our entire family, especially the kids, felt comfortable throughout the trip. Their hospitality genuinely made the experience more memorable. The property is very well maintained, with clean and premium-looking rooms that offer great comfort at a surprisingly budget-friendly price. The kitchen facilities were neat and fully usable, and it was very convenient that outside food was allowed as well. The streets around the property are calm, scenic, and perfect for peaceful morning or evening walks. Overall, it felt like the perfect blend of comfort, location, safety, and affordability. Highly recommended for families, couples, and anyone looking to enjoy the true vibe of Pondicherry’s White Town area.
Great rooms with wooden cots and tables. As it says it is a heritage hotel Just 100m walking to beach Nice breakfast. Perfect for family and those looking for peaceful atmosphere as well. Good hospitality. Great value for money
May be a good hotel but they have one of the most rude, mannerless hotel managers I have ever come across. I booked a hotel room for 2 days on Booking.com and happened to reach way before the check-in time. We sat at the reception area, which is just an office table and a bench to sit on, along with their morning staff. In order to not disturb the poor staff, we infact left for breakfast within 30 mins. Upon returning, we were told that rooms aren't ready, so we decided to wait in a seating area outside the reception. The manager came, ignored us at first and then after an hour, came and very rudely told us that he was being bothered by our presence there. He then proceeded to say that other guests had been complaining about our presence even though we saw nobody come to the reception nor did the staff ever mention this to us. He behaved very rudely with us, instigating us to cancel our reservation and then said "Booking.com customers always give us trouble. I also travel a lot but I don't cause issue at hotels." even though we did no such thing. The owners should get rid of this manager and replace him with someone with more manners. Their loss, because we found a reasonably priced hotel nearby with amazing staff who actually know how to treat customers.
