I stayed in stated resort for a night on 31st January, 2026. Natural ambience of the rooms is excellent. Service is good and homely. I enjoyed staying there.

Thank you very much, Swathi Krishna. Truly overwhelmed by your kindness. I would say this is one of the great places to stay in Alleppey. More than the place, it is about the kindness of the people here. They treated us like guests visiting their own home. They also arranged a boat service to explore the Alleppey backwaters, and the breakfast was great. It is a very calm and peaceful place.

I booked Vinodam Resort as I had no other option, but ended up having a disappointing stay with my family. I paid ₹14,000 for this, and I would honestly rate it 0 stars. It’s basically a homestay. The bed sheets had stains, and the washrooms smelled very bad. The food, especially breakfast, was very poor. The owner seems to care more about money than customer needs and hasn’t hired proper staff. One young woman manages everything—housekeeping, reception, and other responsibilities—which is impossible. There is a big gap in understanding customer expectations. Advice to fellow travelers: Do not come here—it’s a complete trap. Advice to the owner: Kindly hire proper staff like housekeeping and bellboys if you want to stay in business; otherwise, you will disappear sooner or later.
