I stayed recently at this hotel, first of all the location is very prime walking distance to the mahabodhi Temple. The rooms are good however I experienced frequent power off issues. Main issue was with the washroom, it looked good from the outside but it was not at all hygienic when we used it. The WC was stained, they kept it closed. Also the taps had hard water marks, the hot cold water system was totally messed up and the hand shower stand was damaged so the shower was not holding properly. Also, we called the reception and housekeeping many times for the issues we faced but they never bothered to come and check. Also, the washroom had little insects roaming. It totally spoiled the mood.
Rooms had everything but were exhausted. Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Breakfast was disappointing. Great location for the Buddhist Shrine. It was full of Buddhist monks, so can't be too bad.
Located very conveniently opposite to the Mahabodhi temple. Almost about 8-10 other temples are nearby and is located in market. Very reasonable price and sufficiently satisfying. Helpful for Buddhist pilgrimage.
Location: The hotel is conveniently located close to the main temple, making it easily accessible for visitors. Check-in Experience: Upon arrival, we faced an unpleasant attitude from the reception staff. Despite booking online for two nights, we were constantly asked different questions and felt they were trying to impose additional charges. Room Condition: The condition of the room was disappointing. It lacked proper maintenance, smelled mouldy, and had a significant number of cockroaches everywhere. We even saw a rat running in the hallway. The provided slippers were old, the blanket was smelly, and the bathroom towels appeared heavily overused and old. Service: There was no room service throughout our stay. We stayed for two nights and did not see any staff attending to the rooms. Amenities: The amenities did not meet our expectations. The overall state of the hotel indicated that it was in dire need of upkeep. Recommendation: Based on our experience, we would not recommend this hotel to others.
The rooms are very clean and comfortable; you get the value for the money you pay. Mahabodhi temple is just at a stone's throw from the hotel. The food is good and the staff is professional. Parking is on the streetside in front of the hotel, but it is safe. Overall, it was a good experience of staying here. I would prefer to stay again on my next visit.
