Nice lobby but guest rooms are not well maintained. Bedding was soft and clean but only provided 1 bath and 1 hand towel which is abnormal. Curtains were ripped and minibar was not fully stocked. Staff in restaurant and bar are friendly but could be more attentive. Service is slow and only 1 menu is provided to a full table which again is just very abnormal. Main complaint is billing practices. At checkout we informed the duty manager mini bar was not fully stocked. We were honest about what we took and manager didn’t know about correct pricing for the goods. I probably would have let this go (the discrepancy was only about 250 rupee) but his smugness about it made me unfortunately, a bit difficult about it. Anyway, after a phone call to housekeeping it was worked out and we received a refund. Secondly, room was around 5000 for 1 night which matched what we were advertised when booking the hotel HOWEVER upon review of my final bill it noticed a tariff tax charge of nearly 6000. I find this practice to be very deceptive. If you are charging a tariff that costly it should be included in the up front advertised price not “plus taxes and fees” it’s just plain bad business to charge it like this. The only redeeming factor for this hotel is the kindness of the restaurant and bar staff and the food is honestly really good. Lobby is really nice but this luxury doesn’t extended to the upper floors. I would say this is closer to a 3 or 4 star hotel based on the other properties we’ve stayed at throughout India.

Stay here since 16 Th July for Regional meeting has been fantastic experience. All the amenities were excellent. Restaurant and food was great with many varied menus. Chef Rupak satisfied are our demands with freshly prepared menus especially masala dosa. Special mention of the waiters and waitresses Ms Uma and Gita with their ever smiling greetings were so nice and energetic and we cannot forget their hospitality Hope to visit with family soon.
