Absolutely brilliant!! The entire Vaani Green property is part of the operational Kanchanburi Tea Estate. The property is surrounded by tea plantation. The geodesic dome experience was nice but the suites in the main building are indescribable. Service was impeccable. Rooms: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Location: 5/5 Hotel highlights Luxury, Great view, Romantic, Quiet
We stayed at the geodesic dome tents and it was not a experience that we had expected. We booked from MMT and at that ime they charged us 18000+ for one night for 2 adults and 1 8YO child. With that amount the rooerty offered JUST the tent. No TV or fridge. And it's not like the dome tents offers a beautiful view or something. The wooden flooring inside and around the outer surrounding has mould build up. Tiny mushroom growing around. The tent was smelly because of the plastic material it is made of, It also felt unsafe lying on the bed since a heavy pointed chandelier was hanging just above it and kept swinging as soon as a person starts walking around the room. Food is super expensive. All the food in the menu are priced more that double even from the hotels or restaurants or resorts of the same category. We just went there to experience the tent and it was a dissappointment. Location wise, it's far from the main safari area. However, the staff is polite and very helpful right from gatekeepere to the housekeeping staff. The dissappointment mainly was that, at 18000+ so much more basics could have been provided
Amazing place. It was warm and we had to be in the rooms most of the time during day but evening was pleasant. The staff is extremely courteous. Ms Anjali from the restaurant was very understanding and waited for us to complete our safari for breakfast. All in all, this is one of the best properties visited. One minor negative was the AC and the Geyser which didn't function very well so one star less for the rooms.
We had an amazing time at Vaani greens. The setting is beautiful amongst the tea estate plantations and the service is great. Food is amazing! My massage was very relaxing! Safaris were great! We went for 4 of them during our 3 day stay. Orchid park is a must visit which could be planned along with the kohara gate safari since they are in the same area. Tea plantations and tea plucking experience was amazing for the kids . Onsite mandir is nice too and had a nice Pooja session with the pandit. Can use their bikes on the property to bike around . Overall a great experience for a nice quiet experience.
Vaani Greens is a beautiful property and the setting near Kaziranga is lovely. The accommodation is in a charming old tea bungalow style, which gives the place a lot of character. The staff were attentive and service on the ground was generally good. The food was also very good when it arrived. However, our stay was affected by several operational issues. First, although we had confirmed our booking and paid the deposit more than a month in advance, the resort called the day before our arrival to reconfirm all safari bookings. Thankfully everything was eventually arranged, but this was surprising given that the arrangements had already been finalized well ahead of time. During peak season this kind of last-minute confirmation could easily become stressful for guests. Second, there were repeated problems with the quotations and billing. The quotation was revised multiple times due to calculation errors, including incorrect tax on one safari and an incorrect number of safari bookings. Later we were told that the quotation had been calculated for three nights instead of four nights, even though our arrival and departure dates had been clearly communicated from the beginning. Dining was another area where the experience could be improved. The food itself was very good, but the waiting time was often quite long. On one evening we waited close to 1.5 hours for dinner when we had ordered from the ethnic kitchen. The menu is quite extensive, but with a relatively small number of guests it might help to simplify the menu or organize themed meals so that dishes can be served more efficiently. Overall, Vaani Greens has a lot going for it, a beautiful setting, good food, and attentive staff. However, improvements in booking coordination, billing accuracy, and kitchen timing would make the overall guest experience much smoother.
