We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cottage. Conveniently located within the main city, the property offers a perfect blend of accessibility and tranquility. Surrounded by lush greenery and nature, it provides a peaceful retreat away from the usual hustle. The cottage itself is well-maintained, clean, and thoughtfully designed, making the overall experience very comfortable. The host was extremely courteous and attentive, ensuring that everything was in perfect order throughout our stay. Overall, our Airbnb experience here was truly worth it. We would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a serene yet well-connected place to stay.

Extremely unprofessional experience. The property cancelled my confirmed booking just one day before the trip, showing complete disregard for guests’ time, travel plans, and expenses. Such last-minute cancellations are unacceptable and reflect poor management and lack of responsibility. This caused unnecessary stress and inconvenience. I would strongly advise future guests to be cautious while booking, as reliability seems to be an issue here.

We had a truly wonderful stay at Woodside Residence Shillong. Tucked away in the hills above Polo Ground, the duplex sits on a huge, beautifully maintained compound which gave us plenty of space to relax and enjoy the surroundings. My wife, parents and I felt immediately at home. The kitchen was superbly equipped; we cooked most of our meals and found everything we needed—from cookware to utensils to everyday basics. It made our stay so much more comfortable and convenient. Our host, Rhema, looked after us extremely well. She checked in regularly to ensure we had everything we needed and provided help whenever we asked. The owner, Carissa, went out of her way to offer us a very fair rate—and that level of friendliness and flexibility really added to the experience. Overall, the location, the accommodation and the hospitality all came together to make a relaxing and memorable trip for our family. I would wholeheartedly recommend Woodside Residence Shillong for anyone looking for a comfortable, self-catering stay in Shillong with great hosts. We’ll definitely come back.
