The photos on MMT made the property look much better than it actually is. It’s more of a lodge than a hotel. The room had a noisy window AC that wasn’t working properly, and the bathroom was old, with a broken toilet lid and poor cleanliness. The complimentary breakfast was disappointing, with hard idlis and below-average food quality. Although the staff were courteous, the room rates felt far too high for what was offered. The biggest concern was that staff at the reception and bar insisted on guests giving a 5-star rating in front of them and even took photos as proof. Now I understand how this place maintains its ratings. Not recommended.

The rooms are old, hardly maintained and smells of moisture. The washrooms are below average as well. The outlook and location of hotel is great but the rooms kill the vibe. The staff is okay and the food/drinks prices for in-room menu are exorbitantly high. The tariff for rooms is quite low, so if you want to stay for a night and are on a budget, this can be considered.

Rooms were nice and comfortable, and the stay was overall pleasant. The sheets could have been cleaner, which is something they can definitely improve. The staff was polite and the service was smooth, and a special mention to Krishna - Front Office Manager at reception, who was an excellent host and very helpful throughout. For the price, it offers good value and I would still consider staying here again.
