My experience at this hotel is very bad. On the night before our first breakfast, we were informed that a buffet breakfast would not be available due to a low number of guests. Instead, we were asked to select our breakfast items in advance, which we did as instructed. However, some of items served the next morning was of very poor quality. Some of foods are not freshly prepared. They serve stale some food. After consuming the breakfast, we unfortunately fell ill and experienced health issues during our stay. Rooms are good, spacious .... But , My stay was affected by a serious water logging issue in the washroom. I informed the hotel staff about it on. They did come and clear the water temporarily. But the very next day, the same problem happened again. The washroom floor was completely waterlogged, making it slippery and unsafe to use. For the price we pay, this is completely unacceptable.

Very disappointed with the behavior of the restaurant manager at this hotel. We came expecting basic hospitality and respectful communication, but instead the manager spoke extremely rudely. He literally said, “This is not your home, this is my hotel. We only serve food till 9:30, otherwise go to other restaurants.” The way he spoke was completely unprofessional and disrespectful towards guests. A hotel should know how to treat customers politely, even when explaining rules or timing. There are many better ways to communicate without insulting guests. The manager’s attitude ruined the entire experience and made us feel unwelcome. I would not recommend coming to this hotel because customer service starts from management. If the manager behaves like this with guests, it leaves a very bad impression. Thankfully, the other staff members were actually good, polite, and helpful, which is the only positive thing I can say about this place. Please improve the manager’s behavior and professionalism because no customer deserves to be treated this way.

Had a wonderful stay at Viceroy Hotel Darjeeling. The Premium Room was spacious, elegant, and well maintained. The ambience is charming, with beautiful British-era paintings on the walls adding a heritage touch. The warm welcome with traditional scarves and high tea was lovely. Special thanks to Vivek Karmakar, F&B Manager, for his attentive hospitality. The food was excellent—especially the butter chicken and Vietnam fish. The only drawback is the narrow entrance road. Overall, the staff hospitality made our stay truly comfortable and memorable.

Mr. Vishal from reception personally helped me in a medical emergency faced during the stay. He is an amazing person. The hotel location is good. Approachable by car directly but parking not available. Food is tasty. Rooms are cozy, clean. From some rooms the view of darjeeling city is amazing.
