Rooms were good, but no heaters were provided even when I volunteered to pay for the same. Atleast blanket warmers could have been provided. The Manager is not a service oriented person, he refused to provide proper food and accommodation for my drivers- he complained that some other drivers had caused trouble. I strongly recommend not to engage the hotel's/ manager service for cab booking to Bumla. I had a very bad experience. The mngr and his cab partners think that tourist will take any cab provided at any rate if the cab service is delayed and pressure grows on tourist.

Dear Sir. This is to inform you that we have suffered a lot from verious problems since we are boarded to your hotel on and from 12.4.26 to 15.4.26 as follows: 1. Rooms are substandard, merely deplorable condition in the 3rd floor that not up to the mark. 2. You failed to provide un interrupted electricity supply that we have to face scarcity of poor electricity supply. 3. During load shedding or low voltage power supply there is no alternative arrangement. 4. If any arrangements are there ! That you failed to provide to the borders. 5. In one room you are unable to supply hot water 6. No Intercom service and T V out of order. As such we suffered a lot for poor electricity supply. particularly at night when we became exhausted and return to the hotel for refreshment after visiting the tourist places at that time we have to remain totally in dark. There was no alternative arrangement last night. Today morning, when I asked the receptionist for the complaint book for the poor hospitality and inconveniences he refused to supply. With a bitter experience we are compelled to lodge the complaint through e.mail Now, I am claiming compensation / refund room charges due to the above mentioned inconvenience and hospitality. We stayed 4 nights at Menda-La Tawang. It's located at the main area of the Tawang new market. The rooms were very spacious and the bathroom was very big too. The food was very nice, appreciate the kitchen staff for their great work. The owner of the property Mr.Norbu is an amazing gentleman. We absolutely enjoyed that chit chat session with him! The only downside I could find was the parking inside the property which is crampy especially for cars. Otherwise we had no any other issues during our stay.
