I stayed here for 45 days. Fir educational purpose and this is the best place to experience the beauty of loktak lake and real manipuri vibes. The hosts are one of sweetest people you will find. They will always guide. Don't forget to have food with them. They cook the best food. You can know everything about the area. Because the hosts are very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this place. Everyday I felt like home here. Do consider.

stayed at Loktak Buddha Homestay and had a really wonderful experience. The husband and wife are extremely friendly and welcoming, and they made me feel so comfortable throughout my stay. Honestly, it never felt like a homestay — it felt like I was staying at a relative’s home. The hospitality, warmth, and care they showed were truly special. It’s definitely worth the stay, and I would happily recommend it to anyone visiting Loktak. 💚

Had a really pleasant stay at Budha Loktak Homestay. The hosts, Budha bhai and Nirmala didi, are extremely warm and helpful. They not only took great care of us but also guided us for all the local sightseeing places around Loktak. A special mention to Budha bhai for accompanying us to Keibul Lamjao National Park, which made the visit much more insightful and enjoyable. Food made by Nirmala didi was very delicious made from fresh homegrown vegetables. Overall, a very comfortable and memorable experience!

The location is excellent—right near Loktak Lake, with beautiful surroundings—and it’s very easily accessible even by public transport, which makes it very convenient for travelers. The highlight of our stay was definitely the food prepared by Nirmala didi. Every meal was delicious, fresh, and made with so much care. A very special mention for her effort to make chapati (roti) for us—something we had been craving for a long time as North Indians. She truly went out of her way to make us feel comfortable and at home. Overall, the stay was peaceful, comfortable, and filled with genuine warmth. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Loktak!
