We had a wonderful stay at Malayalam lake resort The backyard view was absolutely beautiful and very peaceful, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind. The surroundings were calm, well-maintained, and full of nature. Overall, it was a pleasant and refreshing experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway
I had a great stay at this accommodation. The room was very clean and nicely designed with a beautiful wooden style, creating a warm and comfortable atmosphere. A special thanks to Jeswin, who was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. He even organized a motorcycle for us – everything was super easy and hassle-free, and the price-performance was excellent. It made exploring the area a lot more fun. Highly recommended – I would definitely come back!
I think this place genuinely deserves it's five stars in each area. My fiancee had stayed here last year and recommended it again for this year. The rooms are simple, but they are lovely, striking and memorable and they face on to a view that would cost you ten times as much anywhere else in the world. The pleasure of waking up in a gorgeous wooden room to sit on a carved wooden chair below a fan and stare out at a panoramic view where every fisherman waves to you, and houseboats chug past slowly cannot be underestimated. Thomas speaks good english and was helpful from.the first moment, he arranged a houseboat for us, simple cheap and pleasurable and he hooked me up with kayak rental which I really recommend you do in your time there. There's cats, there's the option to have massages, they have a partnership with a restaurant that delivers good food and they provide a nice breakfast. I'll be back. Even if it was only for the view
What a lovely spot on the side of the river! We loved lounging on the balcony and seeing the life on the river. The staff Jose and Jeswin were so genuine and friendly, we felt so welcome! They also provided a map for a nearby walk, which took us 2-3hr past local homes and fields, and came back by boat. It was a lovely relaxing stay.
The hotel is very good, with an excellent location and comfortable, clean rooms. The host is extremely kind and helpful; he guided us well throughout our trip and made sure we had a smooth experience. He also arranged a canoeing activity for us, which turned out to be one of the best experiences of our trip. The package included both breakfast and lunch, featuring authentic local Kerala food served on a banana leaf, which was delicious. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and I highly recommend this hotel.
