Recently ttdc 1 was renovated. King rooms are spacious and dinner/breakfast is complimentary. The staffs are courteous and well behaved. It's close to Meenakshi Amman temple/market.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had a pleasant stay at TTDC Hotel Tamil Nadu Unit 1, Madurai. The location is excellent, close to the Periyar Bus Stand and major attractions like the Meenakshi Temple. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the staff were polite and helpful. The complimentary breakfast and dinner were a nice addition. Overall, it offers good value for money, and I would recommend it to anyone visiting Madurai, special Thank you Mr.pounraj.

Quick and efficient check in and check out. Express settlement of senior citizen discount. Complimentary Breakfast is there. Complimentary dinner was a pleasant surprise. Comfortable, clean rooms. The wash room is clean. Complimentary toiletries, water heater are provided. Parking area is good. Great location very near to the local bus stand. Autos and taxis are readily available. Restaurant is well maintained. Food options are limited but comfortable on our purse and stomach. Overall a good hotel for stay with family. Value for money.

Hi this was our first time staying in such a average room and hotel. They do have lift a very good restaurant but it's vegetarian and a car parking with some 3 to 4 cars can be parked within. It was a very old type of hotel with still keys and lock we choose ac room but remote was not giving either you use or switch in the main remote will not be provided we cannot just the temperature it standard all the time but it was in a good working condition though. The room was very small 2 people cannot walk at the same time we bumped into each other no extra cot the flush wasn't working properly.. our kid fell down because the bathroom was slippery so beware of that the tv was working near to Meenakshi Amman temple and bazaar place plus railway station. Coming to restaurant we had the morning complimentary breakfast it was delicious with idly pongal chutney sambar, bonda, watermelon and tea, coffee in the vending machine. And in the afternoon we tried the restaurant food because they had some kongunaatu special all the staff were very well dressed and they served us with some health and really tasty vegetarian millet based food.. there were quite a varieties with panagam and mor (drinks), milagu and kollu rasam(soup), some millet onion pakora and vazhai poo vadai, millet varietyrice and veg biriyani with some white rice pulling kuzhambu vathal and fee veggies as side dishes and especially that inji thuvayal everything was amazing. Thanks to the restaurant people for servicing such good delicious and healthy food.. overall the room was very average and food was good. We asked for help while checking out they said it was lunch time and no one turned up. Just go stay with zero expectations major plus is near to temple and railway station.
