I gave my ice slab to store insulin injection to be keep in their freezer so that while travelling back I can keep my injection back with it in my icebox but instead of that they just kept it in normal fridge which I could have also done in my room. Now travelling for 10 hrs without ice slab is worrisome for me. Secondly, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner; all were same product. No difference. Body lotion fragrance was mentioned woody musk but it smelled pathetic and nowhere near to the fragrance mentioned. Handwash also I think was same as shampoo, shower gel and conditioner. I address this to the Gm or the owner to look into these bathroom facilities and do the needful for future travellers. These days even the small hotels have good products but here it was horrible. Also the massages in southern India are famous for their male- male and female- female massages with the typical southern fragrance oils but here it was like Thailand, Females giving massages to men as well as women and the oil was also not quite good and neither the massage. Men definitely like and wouldn’t agree with but I wasn’t satisfied with the massage at all. Not happy at all with the services of the hotel. I had stayed earlier also in promenade around 17-18 years bk but then it was really nice. Hope you can improve your services and have better persons to handle.

To be fair upfront: I never checked in, so this is a review of their reservations service, not the rooms. But that experience alone was enough to take my family's birthday trip elsewhere. The location is genuinely lovely and the sea-view rooms are the draw — which is why I persisted. Getting a straight answer, though, was oddly difficult. For my dates the rooms showed unavailable across the third-party platforms, so I emailed and called to request a direct quote. I heard nothing for over 24 hours. When a reply finally arrived, it quoted room categories I hadn't asked about and omitted the sea-view rooms I'd specifically enquired about. When I followed up — politely — to confirm a sea-view room, the gentleman on the phone scolded me for being impatient, explaining he had hundreds of emails to deal with. I understand teams get busy. But I'd waited a full day and done nothing but follow up courteously, and being lectured while trying to hand over a booking is not what I expected at this price point. The rooms may well be excellent. But hospitality starts before check-in, and if this is the tone while they're still trying to win your business, it's fair to wonder what it becomes once you're a guest with a problem to solve. I booked a nearby heritage property instead — for less money and, so far, with considerably more warmth. If you do book here, get your room type, rate, and cancellation terms confirmed in writing.

We stayed for one day in the sea facing premium room and didn’t feel like going anywhere else, the view was so good. The room itself was well maintained and very clean. Check-in was super smooth and Zara Haider and Prabu were extremely helpful from airport pickup booking to room extension and helped whenever we asked. 5 stars to Zara and Prabu. The restaurant staff were ok. Have already booked for a stay again in a few months, the hotel is that good

I stayed at The Promenade for one night. The location is great just on the seafront promenade as well as being in the French quarter so you can walk the streets easily to visit. All the staff are great, very friendly and provide a top service. The guest manager in the restaurant makes the effort in the morning to check in with guests which is very appreciated. The food is good quality at breakfast with a hot and cold buffet and you can order other hot dishes. WiFi works okay in the building. The only area where improvements are needed are the rooms. As others have mentioned there is a need for a refresh as they look worn, in particular the bathroom. Overall I would recommend staying here.
