Overall a pleasant experience. Nice stay for every age group. The best part is nature's presence which soothes stress in an instant (follow zero screen time). Would become must go destination if the property is maintained properly (i.e improvement in hygiene is required). So 👍 for that @CGTourismBoard.

Our room was booked via a local agency at this property under my name. Upon reaching here I tried to interact with the hotel staff (as one has to) because they were busy ignoring us. The staff was absolutely rude to me and I was only enquiring about the food that was available. He tried to argue with me and would have escalated the situation if I hadn’t walked out. I walked straight out because this guy gave me the feeling of being unsafe. If you are a solo woman or only women group please avoid this hotel at all costs. We left the hotel immediately and checked into Nature view Resort where the staff was delightful, the rooms were clean and the food is incredibly fresh.

This is a property of the Chhattisgarh tourism department. It spreads across a vast area and includes multiple green grounds, sitting options and flower gardens. Location is the best part of this resort. It offers excellent view of the falls specifically from Room no. 101 and 109 (deluxe room). The wooden cottages offer similar view. As we visited in late winter, the width of the falls was less. So it was not visible from all rooms. But in monsoon, mostly every rooms will provide excellent falls view. The room size is adequate and 3 persons can stay easily. Each delux and wooden cottage room comes with a large balcony. The complentary buffet breakfast was good and included eggs along with vegetarian options. We availed breakfast for 2 days and separate menus were served for both days. Apart from the breakfast, whatever we ordered for lunch/dinner tasted good and quantity was adequate. The booking process is simple and hassle-free through the Chhattisgarh tourism department website. One can choose from the multiple room options and no. of persons. We also availed 20% senior citizen discount which made the stay much reasonable. Overall a must stay property if planning to visit Chitrakote waterfalls.
