Bad behaviour double charge for swimming pool in night time 😑
We,a group of 16 person,on a tour of Bihar (Gaya,Rajgir) checked in on 01 Oct 2025. We have booked 6 x Rooms (AC). Pros: 1. They have brick wall. 2. Room were available at any time. (No one's visits generally) Cons: 1. Far from City location 2. AC were not working. 3. Poor hospitality (Very misbehaving staff, un cooperative staff) 4. Water tank were emptied every peak time 5. No cleaning with bad smelling room 6. Swimming pool was in worst condition 7. Staff were asking money for every request of drinking water availability as no food were available,it's been worst experience in living 1 night here
I mean I have seen better places but with the cost in mind I have to say the rooms are quite nice and big, the bed is very soft. Apart from that I found the bathrooms in a bit shabby conditions, like the basin had broken pipe and personally did not like that it did not have jet spray. The staff is quite friendly and polite so there should not be much complain regarding that. The food is fine too. The location is a bit far from the main town, one can like the quiet and solitude, personally I found it a bit disadvantageous because it seemed colder because of the aloof location and also had to return earlier to the hotel.
Great experience during our stay from 25th to 26th December we stayed in room no 212 and our another acquaintance in room bo 205. We had great experience and wonderful pleasant stay. Not much far away from Main temple (Mahabodhi Mahavihara Mandir) just maybe 1.5km and it is just opposite side to the hotel. You will reach by 20rs share auto fare to the mahavihara temple. You can also walk and go and get fresh natural air. Rooms were quite clean and nice. Bathroom was good and there was also one swimming pool (though it is not accessible, they do not fill water in it during winters). Talking about service there was a good serviceman (attendant) named Santosh Kr. he was very respectful and courteous and took every instructions seriously and helped us a lot during our 2night stay. The manager too was quite cooperative. I had to give 4 star to the room because there were quite mosquitos in room and we had to fetch agarbatti (all out was not effective). For service I also had to give 4 star because though every instruction was followed properly and courteously but the Paneer Butter Masala they gave us during dinner on our last night was not up to the mark. Rest puri sabzi was fine, chicken curry was enjoyable and tea was exceptional. You will have a great stay here stay here if you want to visit Mahavihara temple and other Buddhist temples in Bodh Gaya. Be sure to take agarbattis because mosquitos are not only common in hotel but also in the areas surrounding hotel. Have a great stay at auspicious land of Buddha !!!!
Very nice place to stay in bodhgaya. Little far away from the main temple. But very cheaper. Have pool facilities also. Sometimes included in the room charges. Or have to pay some 100 rupees. Doesn't bother you much. I would definitely stay here on my next visit also
