Pathetic front desk. Food was good but astronomically high priced. 50 rs for a non butter tawa roti. Highly confused and arrogant head of front desk. One Manipur girl in restaurant and 1 girl on reception were the only decent people I met there . Some Sujit in restaurant, trying to be very over smart as if he will get everything done. Lastly could not even get the query solved. No one is clear on the theory of so called Neu coin. Every where in the property you'll find the display boards for becoming the members,but those who are already member and wish to use their Neu coins were not given any clarity why they can't use it. But rather that person from front desk says, you visit TAJ hotel once if you want clarity and good service. Such derogatory comments he made. After travelling to Ginger Bangaluru, Ginger Delhi and making good memories there, the trip to Ginger Diu has forced me to make it the last Ginger stay in my life ..
Actually Ginger is looking after the Jalandhar circuit house on contract basis. Overall a royal kind of very satisfying and memorable experience. Room service was moderate. Rooms are bigger in size with store room and a balcony. seen VIP and VVIP government officials visiting there and they prefer to book the outside sea view area for any official/family party. View from room is awesome. Restaurant facility very good sufficient options. Especially the receptionists behavior with customers was very polite. Mr. Sajit and their team are doing a good job of hospitality. Will be happy to share my experience with my knowns and definitely refer them to visit and stay here whenever they plan any family or official tour.
The worst hotel to stay. Poor & confusing infrastructure. Across most of the places in this world, you get hot water on turning the tab to left, here you get it on turning it right, why? Absolutely pathetic attitude of some of the staff and horrible service delivery by the staff. The food is unnecessarily expensive. I ate a daal khichdi with a glass of butter milk- costed by ₹750. Please dont go to this place. Everything is pathetic.
Location and rooms are good. Tried ordering some mocktail and coffee frappe to our room from their restaurant, most of the things listed in the mocktail, ice tea and cold coffees and frappes menu weren't available. Amongst the available items,we ordered a lemon ice tea and a hazelnut cold coffee. The ice tea was too bad, the worst I've ever tasted and cold coffee was below average in taste and also not cold enough to be called a cold coffee! Food items are on expensive side and the drinks tasted so bad that we didn't take the risk of ordering any food😅! Would recommend the place but not their restaurant!
