I visited this restaurant today with my family in the morning. The food was genuinely good, but the behavior of the person taking orders was disappointing. Every time we tried to order something, we were told it would take at least 15–20 minutes. However, we noticed that food was being served to other tables in less than 10 minutes. It honestly felt like, since the restaurant is already popular and crowded, they just wanted customers to eat quickly and leave so they could free up tables. Repeatedly telling us that every order would take 20–25 minutes made the experience uncomfortable. Just a small suggestion to the management: people come to restaurants not only for food, but also to spend quality time with family and relax. Dining should not feel rushed. A little patience and better customer interaction would make the experience much better.
It was very bad experience with this hotel while having breakfast here. Specially the manager or supervisor who was taking order actually kid with a casio watch and unwanted attitude. Food was good but he had made some mistake and yelling on others plus making orders delayed. And my friend unfortunately ordered a chai and he delayed it and made whole experience worst. recently stayed at Amruta bhojana Hotel, and it was a truly delightful experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff was warm, welcoming, and always ready to assist with a smile. The check-in process was quick and smooth. The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated with a modern touch. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the view from the balcony was breathtaking, especially during sunrise. Housekeeping maintained everything perfectly throughout my stay. One of the highlights was the it had a wide variety of delicious options, both local and international, and everything was fresh. The rooftop pool was another great feature, offering a relaxing atmosphere with a great city view. The hotel’s location is also very convenient, close to major tourist spots and shopping areas, yet peaceful at night. Free Wi-Fi and 24-hour room service made my stay even more comfortable. Overall, I highly recommend The Amruta bhojana Hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and relaxing stay. It offers great value for money, and I’d love to return in the future.

I feel genuinely ashamed for the people who lied and claimed the food here is good. You are in the holy land of Jagannath Puri, the abode of Maa Lakshmi, and serving food of this quality feels nothing short of disrespectful. We ordered a thali assuming it would be the quickest option as we were short on time—ironically, it took 35 minutes and two reminders to be served. What finally arrived can hardly be called a thali. At ₹180 per plate (plus taxes), the portions were laughably small—served in tiny, child-sized bowls. The so-called paneer felt fake, the dahi baigan had a pitiful excuse of brinjal, the dal was minimal and bland, and the karela chips were completely flavourless. Who in their right mind designs a thali like this and prices it so steeply? The most disappointing part is that this mediocrity is being served to paying devotees in such a sacred place. The restaurant looks impressive from the outside, but that’s where the positives end. The owners should feel guilty for serving such substandard food at exorbitant prices. Please don’t be fooled by the attractive exterior. This place serves garbage-quality food at premium rates. Highly dissatisfied. Beware and boycott.
