A stunning resort overlooking the tranquil backwaters, with houseboats gently passing by, making it an idyllic setting. The beautifully landscaped garden adds charm and is perfect for photography. The staff were exceptionally warm, attentive, and hospitable, ensuring a comfortable stay throughout. The food was excellent, with freshly prepared traditional dishes that were rich in flavor and truly delightful.

My 4 year old niece loved her holiday all because of the great experience/stay provided by Vimal and his team. Vimal and his team went above and beyond to help us have an amazing holiday. They were patient , kind, responsive and helpful. The location, service, rooms, food and ambience speaks for itself. Extremely child friendly and great staff. It’s an excellent resort. The service is very good. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There’s a welcome drink for you as soon as you enter the resort . The food is also amazing - authentic Kerala cuisine. Karimeen and chicken curry were lip smacking. The breakfast is also good. Definite recommendation for stay, if you are planning for Alleppey visit.

Unfortunately our stay at this hotel was disappointing. The bathroom had visible mould in multiple areas — on the shower curtain and even on the bathroom door — which made it feel unhygienic and poorly maintained. We also did not enjoy the food. After one meal we chose not to eat there again. The pineapple juice tasted watered down, the paneer butter masala was not pleasant, the rice quality was poor, and the salad did not look fresh. I also enquired about arranging a shikara ride. The manager quoted ₹1500 per hour and explained it was because their boat was larger. However, after comparing locally, the boats appeared similar and are commonly offered around ₹600 per hour, which felt misleading. Another practical issue is that every time you need to leave or return to the hotel you must request staff to take you across by small boat. This makes simple movements inconvenient and you end up dependent on staff availability rather than being able to come and go freely. We had originally booked for two nights but decided to leave early and moved to Udday Backwater Resort, which we personally found much better and would recommend instead. Overall the experience did not meet expectations and we would not stay here again.
