The hotel was very nice and food taste was best ,rooms were comfortable and great view
We had an amazing time staying at himalayan heights. Our room was spacious, comfy and we had a beautiful view of the valley from the balcony. Staff was very helpful and polite and the food was really good. All in all service provided them was really satisfactory.
Himalayan Heights Manali – The only positive aspect of this hotel is the view from the room, and that’s the sole reason I’m giving it 1 star. Unfortunately, everything else was disappointing. Food: The hotel offers very limited food options, citing a gas shortage as the reason. However, nearby hotels and restaurants had a wide variety of cuisines—continental, Chinese, and both North and South Indian dishes—without any such issues. This made the excuse hard to believe. On top of that, the food served here was of very poor quality, often undercooked and lacking taste. TV Service: As someone who likes to start the day with the news, I was disappointed to find that the TV had no active cable connection. Despite raising this issue 5–6 times with the reception, no action was taken. Other Services: The hotel advertises services like spa and hookah, but instead of providing them directly, they share contact numbers of external vendors. These vendors were unresponsive, and even when we managed to connect, we were told the services were unavailable. Promised callbacks never happened. Overall, the experience was far from satisfactory. Apart from the view, there’s nothing this hotel offers that justifies a stay. If you don’t want to risk spoiling your holiday, I would strongly recommend avoiding this property.
Stayed at Himalayan Heights, Manali — and what an “experience” it turned out to be. The Good: The balcony view is absolutely stunning. Snow-covered peaks and the city below — nature clearly understood the assignment, even if the hotel didn’t. The Not-So-Good (aka the real experience): The food? Let’s just say it strongly encourages you to skip meals altogether. The “complimentary breakfast” is a masterclass in low expectations — limited options and some truly innovative recipes. Special mention to the poha… because who on earth puts tomato ketchup and capsicum in poha? A bold culinary experiment that no one asked for. Room service is another endurance test. Be prepared to call multiple times — great if you’re looking to build patience on your vacation. Hospitality is almost philosophical — your requests are heard, acknowledged, and then… left to exist in peace. Reported an issue with the TV? So did we. It’s probably still waiting for its moment. The location is wonderfully remote — ideal if you enjoy being cut off from nearby restaurants or any signs of convenience. And the tea deserves its own spotlight — it somehow tastes completely different depending on whether it’s served in your room or at breakfast. Consistency is clearly overrated here. Overall: Go for the view. Just don’t expect anything else to live up to it.
