Great location with superb mountain and forest views and a well-kept property. Food stood out—ask for the signature dishes to truly relish the flavors. We did a short, kid-friendly mountain trek that offered a gentle intro to trekking; the guide (lokesh)was knowledgeable about the area, region and engaging with the children. Room service (Mohit verma) was prompt and caring throughout.
One of the most disappointing dining experiences I’ve had at Lake Valley Resort. The food quality has deteriorated significantly, and unfortunately, almost every dish we tried was disappointing. This was the first time in years that I left a restaurant feeling completely dissatisfied. Non-Veg Starters: * Dragon Chicken – Undercooked and not fit to eat. * Chicken Lollipop – Also undercooked. * Chicken 65 – Just average. Veg Starters: * Gobi Manchurian – Extremely salty and almost inedible. * Paneer Chilli – Undercooked. * Mushroom 65 – Average. Main Course: * Kaju Paneer Masala – ok ok * Dal Kadai – ok * Paneer Butter Masala – ok * Kadai Chicken – Poor taste and disappointing quality. * Chapati – Good. * Pulao – Very poor taste and lacked freshness. * Schezwan Paneer Kaju Fried Rice – Average. The biggest concern was that several dishes, especially the starters, were served undercooked. Food safety should never be compromised, and serving undercooked items is unacceptable. The taste was inconsistent, many dishes lacked basic seasoning while others were excessively salty, and the overall quality was far below what you’d expect from a resort. To make matters worse, the portion sizes were surprisingly small considering the price charged, making the overall experience feel poor value for money. Out of everything we ordered, only the chapatis and a few vegetarian curries were decent. Everything else was either average, poorly prepared, or simply not enjoyable. I genuinely cannot recommend Lake Valley Resort for its food. The kitchen needs immediate attention to improve cooking standards, quality control, taste, consistency, and portion sizes. Until these issues are addressed, I would strongly advise anyone planning to visit the resort to avoid dining here or make alternative food arrangements.
We visited Lake View Resort located in Bakarapet, and it’s a really nice place for families. It’s also very close to Talakona, which makes it a great spot for a relaxing getaway. We had both dinner and the complimentary breakfast, and the food was good. The breakfast had a nice variety, which we really enjoyed. The service was also excellent — the staff, especially the ladies, were very friendly and cooperative. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and a great place to stay.
I stayed for 3 days at Lake Valley Resort during my official trip to Bhakarapet, and it turned out to be a very pleasant and refreshing experience. The resort is beautifully located amidst nature, offering a peaceful environment after a busy work schedule. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, making the stay hassle-free. The calm surroundings and scenic views added a special charm to the overall experience. The staff were courteous and cooperative, ensuring everything was taken care of promptly. The food was good and homely, which made it even more convenient during my official visit. Overall, it was a perfect blend of comfort and tranquility. I would definitely recommend this resort to anyone visiting Bhakarapet, whether for work or leisure.
We stayed at this hotel and booked a balcony room. The room was spacious and very clean, making our stay comfortable. The food was excellent—especially the yummy mirchi bajji and starters, which we really enjoyed. The service was also very good, with polite and helpful staff throughout our stay. Overall, a pleasant experience and highly recommended.
