The night stay at Ran Chandni Resort was very nice. The owner and staff were very friendly and polite. It is budget-friendly and the place itself is peaceful and well maintained. The service was excellent, and the night cultural activities were very enjoyable. The campfire experience was also great. Overall, it was a wonderful stay. If you are looking for a budget-friendly place near Dhordo Rannotsav, I highly recommend this resort.
We booked 3 rooms and two of them were huge, double beds that easily sleep 4. Rooms were neat and clean, so was the bathroom. Overall the place had a very cosy vibe and it's under a gated compound along with another property that is run by relatives. Service was great too and Karsanbhai and boys do their best to bring you a good time. They have bonfire and few artists performing at night after dinner to keep you entertained. If you want to visit white desert and are looking for a value for money stay apart from the tent city, this place is recommended.
Very nice quiet comfortable place Staff is very cooperative and caring Must visit for peaceful living
It was a pleasent experience at the rann chandani. Karsanbhai with his wife ,2 sons(Guru and mukesh) ,1 daughter is managing the resort.but take this thing as a positive as all of them are giving service with "dil". Place- in hodko village ,very good. Hospitality - very good. Food - they tried their best to please us. we enjoyed breakfast very much. keep it up.
"The True Heart of Kutch: Exceptional Hospitality and Culture" If you're visiting the White Rann and want an authentic, immersive experience, Rann Chandni Resort is the place to stay. The Bhunga (traditional mud hut) rooms are beautifully crafted with local mud-mirror work and instantly give you the true Kutchi village vibe. They were clean, cozy, and surprisingly comfortable. The resort grounds are spacious, featuring lovely communal seating areas and a dedicated bonfire space where they organize folk music and dance performances in the evening—a truly memorable cultural highlight. The hospitality from the owner, Mr. Karshan, and his entire staff was exceptional—warm, genuine, and highly supportive. They went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable and helped with our travel plans to the White Rann (which is a short 20-25 minute drive away). A major highlight was the food. Every meal—breakfast, lunch, and dinner—was a delicious, home-cooked Kathiyawadi feast that was hot, fresh, and truly reflective of the local cuisine. This is a must-stay if you value cultural experience, great food, and incredible human connection over typical hotel luxuries. Traveler Type: Family Trip (Nov 2025) Room: Traditional Bhunga Cottage
