⭐⭐⭐☆☆ The Fort House, Diu is a beautiful property with an excellent location, right opposite **Diu Fort** and the sea. The views are amazing, and the hotel looks very attractive from the outside. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a large bed and a 3-seater sofa, making the stay comfortable. However, our overall experience was mixed, it means" uunchi dukan feeke pakwan" kahawat h. We requested if another room with a better view could be shown or provided, but the request was declined immediately, even though the hotel didn't appear to be very busy. A little flexibility from the staff would have made a better impression. Another issue was with the air conditioning. Even after setting the AC to 26–27°C, the room became unusually damp, which made it uncomfortable. The biggest disappointment was the restaurant service. We had not opted for dinner in advance, so we ordered from the restaurant. The food took around **45 minutes/ 1 hour** to be served. We then requested the food to be sent to our room and ordered noodles, but they were extremely spicy. Even after requesting a replacement twice, it took almost **another hour** to receive the corrected dish. The entire dining experience was extremely slow and time-consuming. One more thing that was disappointing was the treatment of our driver. No accommodation was provided for him, and he was **not even allowed to use the washroom**, which we found quite insensitive and disappointing. Basic courtesy toward drivers accompanying guests would greatly improve the overall hospitality experience. Overall, below our expectations. We expected much better from a property with such a good reputation.

We visited The Fort House, Diu for lunch and had a good dining experience. The food was fresh and well-presented, but the overall taste was good but could be improved, especially considering the pricing. The ambience is elegant and inviting, with tasteful décor and a relaxed atmosphere that enhances the dining experience. The staff was courteous, attentive, and provided prompt, friendly service throughout our visit. Overall, it was a good experience—not exceptional—but a pleasant place to enjoy a meal in Diu.

Had a very nice stay at The Fort House, Diu. Property is beautiful, rooms are clean and spacious and location is amazing with fort and sea views. Atmosphere is very calm and relaxing. Food was also really good. We tried multiple dishes and everything was fresh and tasty. Special thanks to Kuldeep from F&B team. Very friendly person and always ready to help. Nowadays it's rare to see such humanity and genuine care towards guests. He made us feel very comfortable and welcomed during our stay. Overall staff was polite and supportive. Small things like this make the experience memorable. Will definitely visit again and highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Diu. 😊🙏🏻
