This was one of the worst experiences we have ever had with a homestay. I requested an early check-in, but instead of handling the situation politely or offering any solution, the staff behaved rudely and unprofessionally. Their attitude towards guests was completely unacceptable. Because of the way I was treated, I decided not to stay at the property at all. I had no choice but to arrange another place to stay at the last minute, which caused me unnecessary stress, inconvenience, and additional expenses. To make matters worse, I am still waiting for a refund of ₹9,329, even though I never stayed at the property or used any of their services. Despite repeated follow-ups, my refund has still not been processed, and I have received no satisfactory resolution. A business should value its customers and handle issues respectfully and fairly. Unfortunately, this homestay failed on both counts. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this property to anyone. I hope the management takes responsibility, processes my pending refund immediately, and improves its customer service so that other guests do not have to go through the same experience.

I hope they resolve this issue promptly and improve the way they treat their guests. I would not recommend this homestay based on my experience.

This is very small Hotel with clean and neat rooms. Breakfast buffet contains only bread, eggs, sauted veggies, poha, puri, potato curry. Service is little slow but good. This hotel does not offer lift service to the guests. This hotel collected high price due to holiday season but not worth enough.

Stayed here with friends and took two rooms. Overall, the rooms were decent in size and comfort. We had one Superior room, which was good, and one Deluxe room—while the room itself was nice, it was located outside near a public washroom, which wasn’t ideal. The location is slightly outside the main Shillong city area, but honestly that worked in our favor. Staying inside the city can get quite chaotic, so this felt like a better, more peaceful choice. Breakfast was simple—fruits and bread, along with hot puri-aloo and omelette on request. They also had poha, though it wasn’t great. Nothing fancy, but it serves the purpose for a short stay.
