The initial arrival and check in delay gave reflection of a Dead property recently taken over by Taj …. But best was yet to come and a Pool side view room yet to be renovated but was relaxing …. Good Food and amazing ambience of Pool side relaxation in the natures lap with sprawling Gardens and natures bounty with birds singing and chirping and Bird house nesting Ducks 🦆😍. Must stay KHAJRAHO hotel !

Writing this review at 10:45PM from the hotel itself. There is a corporate party happening with music loud enough to shake the windows of the pool facing rooms. Upon complaint through phone to reception, the staffs response was that they can't do anything which is a very silly response from a trained receptionist. Further, upon complaining in person at the lobby by my wife, and asking to call a senior person they were able to get the volume reduced. This is unnecessary harassment for other travellers not a part of the party. The hotel should not take other reservations if they have no proper protocol for parties, loud music and their timing. And I dont blame the corporate(and hence not naming them) really, it is the hotels job to manage the party. And TBH this is not the first complaint with the hotel. I had booked a king bed garden view room which upon arrival was told that they are upgrading to a pool view room. I asked the receptionist that I cared more about the king bed than the view and he was hesitant about the bed size and was not upfront about it being queen size. We had to then ask for a comped extra mattress for kid (which I still don't prefer over a king bed). It is still a compromise from a paying customer. If they would have retained my requested room I probably wouldnt have to face the music issue either as that would not be facing the pool. Obviously they know how to run a business but not doing great at running a hospitality business. Travelers come for rest and a peaceful sleep and this is a non negotiable basic from a hotel. With my kids sleeping late that spoils my trip for the next day because they will wake up late. The rooms and hotel is nice but the staff is poorly trained and don't know how to handle seasoned travelers. It's hard to know when they may have a party so better to avoid the hotel in the first place.

We had wonderful experience at Clark’s. Amazing hospitality and excellent service. Good food, well maintained room. Hotel is close to tourist attractions. We love to go back !! Well maintained garden and adequate parking. The resort has an old world charm.
