I went to Andaman’s Havelock Island with my IIM Bangalore classmates for our yearly reunion. I live in California and it was a worthwhile trip for me at Warerwood Resorts. We chose this resort for its location and the quality. The resort is spread around in a large land area and there are several buildings with spacious rooms and common areas on each floor for relaxation. It is quiet and is located walking distance from a secluded beach. The walk to the beach is through a tropical forest and breathtaking. The resort arranges these walks led by Amit of Waterwoods a local Andamani and other guides from the islands with knowledge of the trees, bushes and the flowers besides the knowledge of the island culture, history and the numerous tribes in different islands. The other activities the resort provides is a boat tour with entertainment, scuba diving and the local market and can arrange the tour of the infamous jail in Port Blair, the place of entry to Andaman Islands. Havelock is 90 minutes by ferry from Port Blair. We all were unanimous in praise of this resort and its people and it was one of best experience we had amongst many reunions we had attended.

This is a new property in Havelock Island and we stayed in villa 3 for 2 nights with our family. We were travelling with my older parents and a toddler and we were a bit sceptical initially as it is a new launch. However the villa itself with 3 spacious rooms and living , dining and kitchen was just perfect for our group. Chef Vittal was fantastic and so was Baby and Bobby from the service staff served us very well! The seafood was excellent and so was the south indian breakfast ! Would highly recommend these villas for group travellers who are seeking a peaceful and spacious stay in Havelock Island.
